Java Chip Ice Cream

Crema Lusso

25 ounces


Instant Coffee, finely ground

2 tbsp


White Chocolate Chips

1 cup


Whisk together Crema Lusso and instant coffee. Pour mixture into machine and follow manufacturer’s instructions. Once churned, add white chocolate chips to the machine bowl and churn until incorporated.

No Churn Ice Cream

 

Ingredients:

Crema Lusso

24 ounces


Ice

10 Cups / 5 lbs (enough to fill a 10 qt bowl halfway)


2 ½ Cups

Ice Cream Salt or Rock Salt or Kosher Salt


Flavoring (optional)


Equipment:

10-quart bowl

4-quart bowl

Hand Mixer

Spoon or Spatula

Airtight freezer safe container

Plastic Wrap


Instructions:

Chill both bowls and Crema Lusso in freezer for about 15 minutes before starting recipe. Fill the 10-qt bowl ½ way up with ice, sprinkle with salt and mix it into the ice. Pour Crema Lusso into a 4-qt bowl and mix in flavoring of choice (optional) until well-incorporated. Place 4-qt bowl inside 10-qt bowl. Blend mixture with handheld mixer on low speed, scraping side of bowl as needed (approx. 10 mins or until the mixture is not getting any stiffer or colder). Cover both bowls (retaining current configuration) with plastic wrap and place in freezer for 1 hour. If short on freezer space, cover and freeze only the 4-qt bowl. Remove from freezer and, if needed, reconfigure bowls, ice and salt as before. Whisk for 3 more minutes, scraping side of bowl as needed. Serve immediately, or place into an airtight freezer-safe container and freeze overnight.
